Mr. Mohan’s practice is focused on assisting clients with wealth preservation and wealth transfer planning. He designs estate and business plans to minimize transfer taxes and to provide optimum protection for the client’s heirs. 

 The ultimate goal is to keep the family assets in the family. Frequently these plans involve a strategic transfer of a family-owned business. When business ownership transfers to the next generation, Mr. Mohan employs creative approaches to maximize flexibility and design a plan which is equitable for all the client’s intended heirs.

Mr. Mohan is licensed to practice law in both Michigan and New York and has been admitted to practice in several different forums including the U.S. Tax Court, U.S. District Court and Eastern District of Michigan.

Mr. Mohan graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School and received his B.A. degree from Western Michigan University.
