Mr. Lubera is a partner with the law firm of Wakefield, Sutherland & Lubera, P.L.C. He practices in the area of estate planning, elder law, probate & trust administration and business planning. He earned his Juris Doctor from Michigan State University School of Law and his LL.M. Masters of Law in Taxation from Wayne State University Law School. Mr. Lubera is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the District of Columbia Bar. He is also a member of the Elder Law and Advocacy Section of the State Bar of Michigan. Mr. Lubera has served on multiple Boards including the Senior Services Board for St. John Providence Health System, the past Chair of the St. John Providence Health System Care Continuum Board and currently on the St. John Providence Health Care System Southeast Michigan Hospitals Board with oversite over St. John Hospital and Medical Center, Moross Road, St. John Macomb/Oakland Hospital, Warren, St. John Macomb/Oakland Hospital, Madison Heights, St. John Riverview Center, Jefferson Avenue, Providence Medical Center, Livonia and Providence Park Hospital, Novi. He has served as the President of the Board of Trustees for Services for Older Citizens, a 501(c)(3) non-profit that services 9,000 seniors per year and has also served on the Board and Executive Committee for the Detroit Historical Society that operates the Detroit Historical Museum and the Dossin Great Lakes Museum. He also currently serves as the Chair of the Grosse Pointe Chamber of Commerce and the Grosse Pointe Chamber of Commerce Foundation.
